The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flynn moves out of range of the body kick from Villaba.

Villaba gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Flynn tries to pull guard but Villaba holds him up against the cage and eventually Flynn drops back down to his feet.
Villaba blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Villaba manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Villaba works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Villaba digs a right hand underneath Flynn's ribcage. Flynn let out a lung full of air as it connected.
The referee calls for Villaba to work.

Flynn successfully pulls guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Villaba wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Flynn's closed guard. He's half up but Flynn has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Flynn pivots and extends the arm, Villaba falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Flynn! Well done that man!
