The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
StPierre moves out of range of the strikes.
StPierre tries to clinch up
and Ndawonde counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ndawonde throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
StPierre falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ndawonde counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ndawonde fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt StPierre.
The fighters circling - StPierre throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
StPierre throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ndawonde counters with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
StPierre on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ndawonde. Ndawonde obviously looking to wear him down.
StPierre tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
StPierre tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ndawonde paws at him with a jab and circles away.
StPierre with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ndawonde slaps away a takedown attempt from StPierre, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
StPierre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mbekezeli Ndawonde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Georges StPierre.
StPierre uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ndawonde.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ndawonde. That's going to slow StPierre down.
StPierre shoots and misses
and Ndawonde counters with a thumping low kick.
Ndawonde stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ndawonde, right into the meat.

Ndawonde slips a jab and a cross from StPierre.
Ndawonde scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

StPierre is rocked!
Ndawonde steps in with a hook that catches StPierre right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Ndawonde follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! StPierre looks absolutely devastated.

An out of breath Mbekezeli Ndawonde thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
