Rush looks to land a combination. Filipovic sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Rush is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Filipovic doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rush .

Rush thows a huge punch but Filipovic dodges it nicely.

Rush seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Filipovic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rush misses with a takedown attempt - Filipovic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Rush is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Filipovic is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Rush is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Filipovic has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Filipovic!

Andrew Rush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Rush is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Filipovic is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Filipovic flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Rush anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Filipovic and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Rush slips an arm under Filipovic chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Rush has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Rush is squeezing on Filipovic like an anaconda would it's prey. Filipovic fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
