Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie OCallaghan!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OCallaghan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

OCallaghan manages to break the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

OCallaghan breaks the clinch.
OCallaghan throws a sloppy head kick and Joseph moves out of range easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by OCallaghan.
OCallaghan misses with a head kick.
OCallaghan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Joseph dives in and grabs OCallaghan's left leg, looking for a takedown. OCallaghan pushes down on Joseph's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slapping body kick lands there for OCallaghan.
Joseph takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Joseph jumps guard and drags OCallaghan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Joseph manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. OCallaghan manages to get himself to full guard.

It looks like Kraig Joseph has been cut.

OCallaghan forces Joseph back against the cage and clinches.
OCallaghan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as OCallaghan takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Joseph tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. OCallaghan smiles and moves away.

and Joseph counters with a left and a right that stings OCallaghan.

Joseph fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with OCallaghan, pushing him back against the cage.

OCallaghan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Joseph shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. OCallaghan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

OCallaghan has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Joseph is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

OCallaghan clinches up with Joseph and pushes him back against the cage.
OCallaghan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

and Joseph counters with a three punch combo that has OCallaghan backing up. OCallaghan nods at Joseph to acknowledge the strikes.

Charlie OCallaghan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OCallaghan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joseph. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
OCallaghan wanted to stand there but Joseph had control of the position.

Joseph throws a big counter combination but OCallaghan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Joseph is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Well OCallaghan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
