The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a hook but Gracie blocks it.
Gracie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gracie misses with a wild combination.
Sanchez closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Roy Gracie has been cut.
Sanchez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gracie momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sanchez lands a high kick to the side of Gracie's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Sanchez dives into guard, looking to finish.

Gracie is rocked!

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanchez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gracie is looking for a triangle but Sanchez pushes his legs off easily.

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gracie is trying to maintain the position but Sanchez is very close to passing his half guard.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Sanchez has control of the leg.
Sanchez wants to stand up but Gracie has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Gracie works his way to full guard. Good work.
Gracie controls Sanchez momentarily but Sanchez frees himself.
Sanchez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sanchez connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Gracie has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Sanchez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Sanchez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanchez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sanchez thows a body kick. Gracie tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Sanchez scores with a decent looking hook.
Sanchez connects with the punch.
Sanchez Rushes Gracie and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Gracie is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Sanchez Piles on the pressure and Gracie crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
