And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hanny Sledgehammer!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sledgehammer takes a swing at Mason's ribcage but misses.
Mason needs to keep his hands up - Sledgehammer had a free shot at his head there.
Sledgehammer connects with a high kick.
Sledgehammer closes the distance and clinches.
Sledgehammer swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mason lands a right hand.
Sledgehammer misses with the head strike.
Sledgehammer doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sledgehammer misses with a hook from the clinch.
Mason breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mason throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sledgehammer was covering up waiting for the punch and Mason finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mason accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mason wants to pass the guard but Sledgehammer is keeping the position.

Mason drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mason jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mason throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sledgehammer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mason gets to his feet. Sledgehammer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Sledgehammer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hanny Sledgehammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mason shoots for a double leg takedown but Sledgehammer sprawls well. He's pushed Mason's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mason is looking to clinch but Sledgehammer is avoiding it.
We've been informed that Sledgehammer has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nice uppercut lands for Sledgehammer. That snapped Mason's head back.
It looks like Bea Mason has been cut.
Mason tries to clinch but Sledgehammer moves out of range.
Sledgehammer tries to close the distance and clinch but Mason swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mason looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Mason looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sledgehammer lands a big head kick that sends Mason tumbling to the mat! Sledgehammer takes a step backwards and waves Mason back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mason is rocked!
Sledgehammer looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Sledgehammer backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Mason's temple! It sends Mason violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Sledgehammer celebrates and the doctors try to help Mason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Hanny Sledgehammer!
