Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor McGregor!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor throws a right and a left that Roberson avoids nicely.
Roberson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGregor but McGregor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McGregor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Roberson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Roberson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McGregor napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Roberson cracks McGregor with an elbow. That is naaassty.
McGregor taking a bit of punishment here - Roberson scoring with strikes.
Roberson prevents McGregor from escaping the position.
McGregor is looking to reverse the position.
McGregor trying his best to control but Roberson has mounted him.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Roberson cracks McGregor with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Roberson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Roberson blocks McGregor's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Roberson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McGregor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Roberson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
McGregor really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Roberson lands a big shot there that rocks McGregor but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
McGregor wants to try and get back to his feet.

Roberson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, McGregor has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Roberson looking to control and managing it successfully.
McGregor's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGregor has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
McGregor breaks Roberson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Roberson is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGregor looking for a guillotine here but Roberson defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roberson works over McGregor with some ground and pound from guard.
Roberson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

McGregor is trying to control the position here. Roberson has hold of a guillotine from the top though... oh, that looks naaaaasty, will McGregor tap? Yes he will! The fight is all over! Roberson jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Reggie Roberson!
