Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Red Cup (ranked 4921 p4p, 457 weight class) and Batuhan Jaruud (ranked 3358 p4p, 352 weight class). Jaruud has chosen Three 6 Mafia - Side to Side as his entrance music. Batuhan Jaruud struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cup darts in trying to clinch
and Jaruud counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Cup has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jaruud uses from the top position.

A jab-cross combination lands for Cup and sends Jaruud crashing to the mat! Cup follows him down to the mat - Jaruud regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
