PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Mugabe (ranked 1415 p4p, 45 weight class) and Chip Chocolate (ranked 2562 p4p, 92 weight class). Chocolate has chosen Cookie Dance as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Chocolate. That snapped Mugabe's head back.

It looks like Rob Mugabe has been cut.

Mugabe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Chocolate tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mugabe avoids it.
Mugabe will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Chocolate up against the cage.

Chocolate tries to work over Mugabe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
With the fighters up against the cage, Mugabe throws an elbow but misses.

Chocolate is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mugabe is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Chocolate to the mat. Chocolate regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Chocolate goes for a double leg but Mugabe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mugabe continues to drive forward.

The cut above Chip Chocolate's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Chocolate has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mugabe after a bit of a struggle.
Rob Mugabe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chip Chocolate.
Mugabe looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Chocolate tries to score a body lock takedown but Mugabe shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Chip Chocolate's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chip Chocolate's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rob Mugabe!
Rob Mugabe gave a mention to Vikai Gear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
In defeat, Chip Chocolate stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm gonna take this loss with a grain of salt, or a grain of sugar, and put it in a cookie, and eat it.'.
