The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Di Borgo Sabottino misses

and Pace counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pace looks up at the clock and then as Di Borgo Sabottino takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pace smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Di Borgo Sabottino is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Pace has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Di Borgo Sabottino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Di Borgo Sabottino throws Pace to one side and escapes!
Di Borgo Sabottino fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Pace is out of range.
Pace swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Di Borgo Sabottino will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pace throws a big counter combination but Di Borgo Sabottino scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Good leg kick by Di Borgo Sabottino there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Di Borgo Sabottino connects with a stiff jab that staggers Pace - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
