The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melton swings for the body but Bong moves out of range.
Bong is looking for the big counter here.
Melton has his takedown stuffed
and Bong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Melton darts in looking for a takedown but Bong gets double underhooks and turns Melton into the cage.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bong! But no joy.
Melton shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Melton is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bong is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
