Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolas Montes (ranked 5465 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice King (ranked 6980 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nikolas Montes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maurice King!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montes lands a body shot.
Montes clinches up against the cage.
King holding his opponent close, against the cage.
King goes for a takedown attempt but Montes pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that King has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
King on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Montes. Montes obviously looking to wear him down.
Montes feints and as King raises his hands in defense, Montes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Montes is looking to pass into half guard but King pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now King is in guard.
Montes trying to strike off his back.
King engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Montes wants to stand but King is controlling the position.
King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Montes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
King is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
King stopping the sweep attempt from Montes.
King pushes down on Montes's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Montes is trying to maintain the position but King is very close to passing his half guard.
Montes is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
King is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Montes is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Maurice King!
