The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singh pushes Adams up against the cage in a clinch.
Singh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Adams gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Singh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Adams has Singh pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Adams pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Singh tumbling to the mat - Adams dives into Singh's guard.
Singh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Adams is one step ahead there.
Adams sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Singh's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Singh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Singh wants to control but Adams passes into side.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Singh can do anything to dispel that myth.
Singh is trying to control Adams's posture but Adams avoids it.
Singh is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
A control attempt from Singh but he's now mounted!
Singh manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Adams passes to full mount!
Adams postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Singh looks a forlorn figure.
Singh wants to control but Adams is having none of it.
Adams postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Singh bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Adams and the fight is over!

Jay Adams opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
