Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alan Florian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reckuva Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Florian comes to the ring accompanied by "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei. The key to victory for Alan Florian has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Florian looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Florian looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gracie with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Florian has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Florian connects with a nice short shot to Gracie's temple.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
