Fauchelevent comes to the cage accompanied by Rue des Cascades. The crowd seem to be enjoying Dawg's choice of entrance music: Raise hell- hed pe. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawg misses with a low kick.
Fauchelevent shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dawg's guard.
Fauchelevent pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dawg is keeping the position for now.
Fauchelevent wants to control from the top but Dawg keeps moving.
Dawg wants to stand up but Fauchelevent is controlling him.
Fauchelevent throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fauchelevent scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fauchelevent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dawg utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fauchelevent keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dawg's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fauchelevent stands up and waves to Dawg to follow him.
Nice shot by Dawg.
Dawg throws a leg kick
and Fauchelevent counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dawg!
Fauchelevent is working to tighten his grip on Dawg's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dawg has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fauchelevent is really squeezing tight and eventually Dawg passes out! Fauchelevent breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ultime Fauchelevent!
