Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emma Datch (ranked 5309 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jones (ranked 5577 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Datch throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Datch throws a right and a left that both miss.
Datch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Datch circles away from the clinch attempt.
Datch is looking to counter the offense by Jones and move into the clinch.
Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Datch pushes him off.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

and Datch counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at Datch to acknowledge the strikes.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Datch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Datch misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Datch walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
