The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turbitt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Thomas wants to get back to his feet but Turbitt is dominant here and he's now got Thomas's back!
Thomas looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Turbitt struggling to land strikes to the head as Thomas covers up.
Thomas is trying to defend against the choke here but Turbitt has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Turbitt Tightens the hold and Thomas taps out furiously! Turbitt displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
