Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Veeee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Tice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Veeee.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tice stops Veeee from passing to mount.
You can see the frustration on Tice's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Veeee tries to move to mount but Tice blocks the move with his legs.
Veeee could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tice is looking for a sweep.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Brandon Veeee just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Veeee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tice's waist but Tice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Veeee off to one side.

Tice escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Veeee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Veeee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tice for as long as he can get away with.

Tice will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Veeee shoots in looking for a takedown. Tice tries to sprawl out of it but Veeee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jimbo Tice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Veeee is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Veeee is trying to control Tice's posture but Tice avoids it.
Veeee wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Tice connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Veeee some visible discomfort.

Tice decides to stand back up. Tice steps back and let's Veeee get back to his feet.
Tice throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Veeee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Tice fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Veeee sprawls well initially but Tice persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Tice is looking for a kimura but Veeee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tice to get the leverage.

Tice drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tice jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Veeee has managed to clinch.

Tice is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Veeee can't fight it off and eventually Tice manages to take the fight to the floor. Veeee looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tice drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Veeee uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Veeee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Veeee decides to stand back up.
Tice tries to clinch there but Veeee circles away.
Tice fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Veeee throws a wild body kick that Tice sees coming a mile off.
Veeee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tice paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Veeee misses with a kick to the body.
Veeee tries to clinch but Tice is having none of it.
Veeee swats away the attempt to clinch by Tice.
Veeee stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tice.

Jimbo Tice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tice has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
