The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copley throws a sloppy head kick and Parker moves out of range easily.
Copley tries to clinch up
and Parker counters with a three punch combo that has Copley backing up. Copley nods at Parker to acknowledge the strikes.
Parker lands a head kick. Copley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A slow jab from Copley misses its intended target.
Parker tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Copley manages to circle out of the way.

Copley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Parker is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Copley jumps into side control!
Parker is looking for a sweep.
Parker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Copley postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parker is letting Copley control him for a moment.

Copley tries a head kick but it misses.
Parker lands a head kick. Copley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Copley shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Copley not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Copley seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Copley gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Copley throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Parker because Copley loaded up on that one.

Parker tries to improve his position but Copley has taken his back! Copley has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Parker tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Copley pushes Parker away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
