The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sutton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Carpathia to the mat! Carpathia manages to get full guard.

Sutton postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Carpathia is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sutton, into his guard.
Carpathia is fighting to break Sutton's control of his arms but Sutton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Carpathia has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Sutton is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sutton pulls Carpathia in close to prevent any damage.
Sutton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carpathia is one step ahead there.
Carpathia would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Oh but Sutton is tightening it up a little... Carpathia has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
