Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by David.
Left hook, right uppercut from David.
David tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Niemayer was well out of range. Poor timing from David.
Niemayer misses with a looping left.
David uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Niemayer.
Niemayer lands a right hook to the body.
David scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
David thows a body kick. Niemayer tries to catch it but that hurt him.
David darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and David counters with a nice double leg into side control. Niemayer won't be happy with that.
David is looking to take a break and control but Niemayer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
David is really struggling to control Niemayer but he's trying to hold on to the position.
David is staying tight to Niemayer's torso, preventing him from escaping.
David has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

David goes for a double leg but Niemayer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Niemayer continues to drive forward.

Niemayer appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
David fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Niemayer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Niemayer drops his hands momentarily and David takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A punch lands to the side of David 's head but he takes it in his stride.

David takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Niemayer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt David.
