Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keith Mays!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krystyn Kucharski!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mays shoots in and drives through. Kucharski sprawls well.
Decent striking displayed by Kucharski there.
Mays changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kucharski tries to avoid it but Mays manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kucharski to the ground. Kucharski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Despite the aggression on Kucharski's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Mays uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kucharski.
Mays ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mays quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Kucharski throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mays counters with a nice body kick.
Kucharski catches Mays with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kucharski throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mays counters with a solid body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kucharski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mays throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kucharski's waist but Kucharski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mays off to one side.

Mays's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kucharski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mays scrambles back to his feet.

Mays is trying to pull guard but Kucharski turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Mays swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kucharski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mays has him pressed against the cage.
Kucharski is looking to break free of the clinch but Mays has double underhooks.
Kucharski lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Mays.
Kucharski tries to throw a body punch but Mays avoids it by throwing Kucharski back against the cage.
Kucharski has had enough of the clinch but Mays keeps him there for the moment.

Kucharski manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Mays keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kucharski's efforts to push away.
Mays creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mays has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kucharski after a bit of a struggle.

Kucharski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mays. Mays circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Kucharski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kucharski fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kucharski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mays.
Mays blocks a jab.
A jab from Kucharski does it's job there.


Mays is rocked!
Kucharski Throws a clean left jab. Kucharski Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Mays's chin! Mays crumbles to the ground and Kucharski follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Kucharski!
