Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mickey Munday!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitsongrit thuds a left hand into Munday's body.
Munday pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

and Munday counters with a right hand to the body.
Sitsongrit looks for a takedown but Munday sprawls well.
Munday has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sitsongrit uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Munday.
Sitsongrit looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Munday escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sitsongrit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Munday is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sitsongrit defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sitsongrit got a little sloppy there for a moment and Munday has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sitsongrit has managed to get both his arms back between Munday's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcinho Sitsongrit will probably get the nod.

Sitsongrit has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Munday! Can he survive? No! He's out! Sitsongrit gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
