Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silent Bob (ranked 971 p4p, 126 weight class) and Daniel Williams (ranked 2040 p4p, 263 weight class). Silent Bob has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 2, fighting out of New York, Silent Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Williams!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob connects with an inside leg kick.
Bob looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Bob shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Williams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bob in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Williams avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bob working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bob trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.

Bob wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bob stands up over Williams, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bob might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bob missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Bob is just out of range.
Williams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Silent Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Williams looks to land a right hand but Bob moved out of range.
Williams staying out of range there.
Williams lands an overhand right.
Bob misses the jab.
Williams scores with a decent looking hook.
Bob misses the jab.
Williams scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bob lands a nice looking body kick.
Bob looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Williams staying out of range there.
Williams looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Williams misses with a series of wild punches.
Bob tries to counter by clinching up but Williams breaks away and moves out of range.
Bob throws a body shot but no joy.
Williams misses with a hook. Bob ducked under it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bob throws a low kick, looking for Williams's leg but Williams calmly moves out of range.
Williams follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Bob misses with a series of wild punches.
Williams throws a fast counter high kick but Bob manages to duck under it in time.
Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Bob moves out of range easily.
Bob scores with a crisp jab that stopped Williams in his tracks.
Bob tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williams was well out of range. Poor timing from Bob.
Bob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Williams throws a body punch but Bob moves out of range.
Bob lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bob slips under a jab.
Bob ducks right into an uppercut from Williams.
Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bob.
Good exchange - Bob coming out on top.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Williams connects with a high kick.
A low kick from Bob misses
and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A shot to the liver by Bob. Beautiful body shot.
Bob throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Williams counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bob thinking.
Bob throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Williams lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A big right from Bob misses.
Bob thows a left - swing and a miss!
Williams keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bob.
Williams is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Williams throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jab, jab by Bob - just one landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silent Bob dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Bob throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it.
Williams throws out a counter right but Bob avoids it with no problem.
Bob misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.
Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bob momentarily.
Bob swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bob misses with a left hand
and Bob takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bob jabs Williams right on the nose. Williams blinks but takes it well.
Williams throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bob swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

letting Williams counter with a right hand.
Williams throws a head kick but Bob moves out of range.
Bob is looking to land body kicks.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Williams! But no joy.
Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob connects with a combination that backs up Williams into the cage. Bob lands a flurry of punches that gets past Williams's guard. Williams is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Bob bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Silent Bob!
During a confident post fight interview, Silent Bob thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
