Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kai Raymaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marv Ellis!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Raymaker.
Ellis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Raymaker is looking to counter punch.
Ellis loads up on a big right hand but Raymaker slips the punch.
A little feinted left hand from Raymaker on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Raymaker stuns Ellis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Raymaker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Raymaker digs a good body shot into Ellis's ribs.
Raymaker throws a body shot but no joy.
Ellis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A leg kick checked by Raymaker.
Ellis misses with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raymaker with a nice cross.


It looks like Marv Ellis has been cut.
Raymaker misses the shot to the body.
Raymaker misses with a hook.
Raymaker just misses with a punch to the body.
Ellis missing with a left hand there. Raymaker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Raymaker is looking to wear down Ellis with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raymaker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ellis. Ellis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A slow jab from Raymaker misses its intended target.
Ellis moves to clinch but Raymaker breaks away
and Raymaker counters with a straight right hand.
Kai Raymaker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Raymaker counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ellis! Raymaker lets Ellis back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


Ellis is rocked!
A jab from Ellis misses.
Raymaker appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Ellis is still on wobbly legs! Can Raymaker finish him?
Raymaker circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Ellis tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Raymaker wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kai Raymaker!
Kai Raymaker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
