Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lapu Lapu (ranked 3572 p4p, 281 weight class) and Shawn Arteezy (ranked 3600 p4p, 283 weight class). Lapu comes to the cage accompanied by Noypi by Bamboo. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arteezy takes one on the button.
Lapu seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Arteezy throws a body punch but Lapu moves out of range.
Lapu throws a body shot but no joy.
Arteezy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lapu connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Arteezy. Lapu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Arteezy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lapu moves away from the strike by Arteezy.
Arteezy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lapu jabs Arteezy right on the nose. Arteezy blinks but takes it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lapu steps in with a hook that catches Arteezy right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Lapu follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Arteezy looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lapu Lapu!
