Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeromy Beck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Beck dives in and scores a takedown into Gracie's guard.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Beck can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gracie holds on and takes a little breather.
Beck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beck's guard.

Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Beck defends the submission attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
It looks like Gracie might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Beck controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.
Gracie controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Gracie tries to sprawl but Beck drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Gracie gets back to full guard.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beck defends it easily.

Gracie has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Beck doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Beck manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Beck stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beck changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gracie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Beck off and has taken his back!

Gracie is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Beck won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Gracie off his unconscious opponent!
