Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clemente Anderson (ranked 25320 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chan Kong Sang (ranked 5209 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Clemente Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chan Kong Sang!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong Sang catches Anderson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Anderson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kong Sang rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Anderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kong Sang's guard.

Kong Sang kicks Anderson off and gets to his feet.
Kong Sang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kong Sang wants it to stay on the feet.
Anderson shoots in and drives through. Kong Sang sprawls well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kong Sang gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kong Sang takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Kong Sang doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kong Sang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kong Sang lands the left hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kong Sang throws a counter combo.

Anderson fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clemente Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from Kong Sang does no damage.

Anderson has managed to clinch.
Kong Sang lands with a light punch inside.
Anderson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kong Sang after a bit of a struggle.
Anderson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kong Sang walks away with a smile on his face. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kong Sang has managed to clinch.
Anderson has Kong Sang pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kong Sang manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kong Sang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Anderson tries to keep at a distance but Kong Sang has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kong Sang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kong Sang shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Anderson is trying to defend but Kong Sang finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Anderson pushes Kong Sang off and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kong Sang moves into the clinch successfully.
Anderson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kong Sang gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kong Sang lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kong Sang just leaning against Anderson, taking a breather.
Anderson is looking for a takedown.
The referee calls for Kong Sang to work.
Kong Sang holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Kong Sang manages to pull guard.
Anderson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Anderson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kong Sang's guard.

Kong Sang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Anderson defends well.
Anderson wants to stand but Kong Sang is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Anderson looking to sit in guard and control but Kong Sang gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Anderson wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Kong Sang has taken Anderson's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Anderson has been forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chan Kong Sang!
After winning the bout, Chan Kong Sang thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
