Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dual rushes Trecozze and presses him up against the ropes.
Dual swings wildly with an uppercut but Trecozze uses good head movement to avoid it.
Trecozze changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dual fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Trecozze misses with a takedown attempt - Dual sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Trecozze gets tackled into the ropes by Dual. Dual maintains the clinch.
Dual gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Trecozze.
Nick Dual has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gino Trecozze.
Dual tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Dual definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dual lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Trecozze backwards.
Dual softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trecozze tries to score a body lock takedown but Dual shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dual swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Still in the clinch, Dual scores with a nice short uppercut.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Dual creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Trecozze jumps into guard, dragging Dual to the mat.
Our spies down at at Rabid Dog inform us that Trecozze has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Dual won't allow Trecozze to sweep him here.
Dual postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Dual trying to control the position from guard on top but Trecozze is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dual is looking to take a break and control but Trecozze is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dual content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Trecozze has locked up a guillotine! Trecozze's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Dual is holding on here and Trecozze must be using up a lot of energy. Dual has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Trecozze gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
