Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keenan Griffith (ranked 5320 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlade Shieko (ranked 5409 p4p, 0 weight class). Vlade Shieko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shieko throws a nice looking combination but Griffith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Griffith clinches up with Shieko and pushes him back against the cage.
Griffith tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shieko avoids it.
Griffith fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Shieko can't break the clinch.

Griffith manages to pull guard.
Shieko tries to stand but Griffith is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Griffith has his foot on Shieko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shieko works his way back into a safe position though.

Griffith is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shieko is aware though and is defending well.
Griffith might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Shieko decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Griffith, up you get!

Oooooh!!! Shieko has knocked Griffith down with a huge combo! Shieko steps away and waves a wobbly Griffith back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Shieko lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
