Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butt Wipe (ranked 1315 p4p, 168 weight class) and Robert Diggs (ranked 1697 p4p, 213 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butt Wipe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Diggs!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diggs moves into the clinch.
Wipe struggles to land a body shot inside as Diggs controls his hands.
Diggs is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wipe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Wipe working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Diggs throws a head punch that misses.
Wipe has a couple of punches blocked by Diggs.

Diggs lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Diggs is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Wipe is keeping busy.

Diggs tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diggs has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Wipe tries to get to full guard but Diggs has control of the leg.
Wipe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diggs on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Diggs not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Diggs looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wipe is looking for a sweep. Diggs is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wipe is working hard here to advance position.
Diggs wants to pass to mount but Wipe is defending the position.
Diggs sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Wipe defending well though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wipe looks like he's trying to stand up.

Diggs seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wipe darts in and clinches Diggs up against the cage.
Wipe tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Wipe blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Diggs blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Diggs lands a shoulder strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wipe fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wipe lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Diggs backwards.
Wipe is defending well against a takedown attempt.
A short body shot lands from Diggs as the two fighters clinch.

Diggs pulls Wipe into guard.

Diggs escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wipe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Diggs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wipe's guard.

Wipe has his hands on Diggs's head, controlling the position.

Wipe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Diggs content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Diggs working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Diggs is stalling in the full guard.
Diggs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Diggs wants to control from the top but Wipe keeps moving.

Diggs postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wipe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Diggs, into his guard.


Wipe gets to his feet - Diggs follows without any prompting.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wipe takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Diggs fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wipe on the side of the head.
Wipe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Diggs throws a looping overhand right but Wipe ducks down to avoid it.
Wipe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diggs to score with a decent uppercut.

Diggs uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wipe.

Diggs has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Wipe takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Wipe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diggs.

Robert Diggs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Butt Wipe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Diggs.

Diggs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wipe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Wipe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Diggs throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wipe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wipe takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Wipe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Wipe looks to score with a jab to the body but Diggs is just out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wipe throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Diggs connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Diggs scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Wipe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Diggs slips a jab from Wipe.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Diggs! But no joy.
Wipe throws a right hand that Diggs ducks under and follows up with a left that Diggs also avoids with ease.

Diggs closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Diggs thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Robert Diggs is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Robert Diggs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Diggs winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
