Martinsson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. Hearns has chosen Darude - Sandstorm as his entrance music. Thomas Hearns has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ryan Martinsson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinsson blocks the body kick.
Hearns misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hearns throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A lazy left from Hearns finds it's target.

It looks like Ryan Martinsson has been cut.
Martinsson shoots in for a double leg but Hearns sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice uppercut lands for Hearns. That snapped Martinsson's head back.
Hearns waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Martinsson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Martinsson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Martinsson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martinsson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Hearns trying to control the position from guard on top but Martinsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Martinsson seems to have got his legs back now.

Hearns stands and steps away. Martinsson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Martinsson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hearns keeping moving, preventing Martinsson from controlling successfully.
Martinsson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hearns works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hearns kicks Martinsson off and gets to his feet.
Thomas Hearns is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hearns tries to bum rush Martinsson with a series of wild strikes but Martinsson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hearns stuffs the takedown attempt from Martinsson. Martinsson gets slowly back to his feet.
Hearns misses with a hook.

Hearns cracks Martinsson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Hearns lands a brutal uppercut that launches Martinsson off his feet! Martinsson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
