Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Massive Overflow (ranked 207 p4p, 9 weight class) and Kimi Loiri (ranked 850 p4p, 35 weight class). Massive Overflow has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kimi Loiri!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Watson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loiri looks to land a left hand but Overflow moved out of range nicely.
A counter left hand to the body from Overflow misses its target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Loiri has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Overflow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Loiri works Overflow's body with a nice hook.
Overflow takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Overflow misses with a hook.
Loiri looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Loiri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Loiri throws a front kick that sends Overflow stumbling back into the cage.
Loiri misses with a lunging right hand
and Overflow counters with a stiff right hand.
Loiri misses with a shot to the body
and Overflow counters with a straight right hand.
Loiri attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Loiri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Overflow changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Loiri with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Overflow to score with a decent uppercut.
Kimi Loiri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overflow takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Loiri throws a lazy uppercut
and Overflow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Overflow is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

enabling Overflow to counter with a crisp jab.
Overflow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Loiri.

Loiri lands with a shot to the body.
Overflow cracks Loiri with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Loiri misses with a body shot
and Overflow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Overflow throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Loiri stumbling backwards into the cage! Loiri bounces back off the cage towards Overflow, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Overflow lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Overflow celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Massive Overflow!
