The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macarron shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jenkins is trying to defend but Macarron finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Macarron slips a nice elbow through Jenkins's hands, connecting with Jenkins's forehead.

Macarron takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Macarron could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jenkins is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Macarron rolls with it to try and escape but Jenkins cranks on the arm and Macarron is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
