Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eldar Smith (ranked 3609 p4p, 360 weight class) and Erling Koch (ranked 4929 p4p, 444 weight class). Eldar Smith has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eldar Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Erling Koch!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith pushes Koch up against the cage in a clinch.
Smith landing knees to the head.
Smith breaks the clinch.
Smith goes for a double leg but Koch avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Koch continues to drive forward.
Smith walks into a straight right hand from Koch.
Koch misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
Smith was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Koch, pushing him back against the cage.
Koch is looking to control Smith's arms but Smith gets an underhook and turns him. Now Koch has his back to the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Smith.
Smith lands a shoulder strike.
Smith has Koch pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Koch manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Smith manages to break the clinch.
Smith moves into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Koch throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Smith lands with a nice body punch.
Smith moves into the clinch successfully.
Koch is trying to push Smith away but Smith has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Koch wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Smith lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Smith lands a hook that snaps the head of Koch backwards.
Smith stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A body shot lands from Smith.
Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smith lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Smith drops Koch with a beautiful combination! Koch stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!
Koch is rocked!
Smith is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Koch flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Koch is out cold! Smith holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eldar Smith!
