Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Hauser (ranked 365 p4p, 49 weight class) and Qasim Barakat (ranked 714 p4p, 94 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hauser connects with a jab.
Barakat throws an overhand right that lands on Hauser's shoulder, as Hauser tries to avoid the shot.
Barakat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Barakat staying out of range there.
Hauser throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hauser pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Barakat checks the leg kick.
Barakat lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hauser's sensitive parts.
Barakat getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hauser tries to land a front kick but Barakat steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Barakat walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Barakat throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hauser misses with a looping right.
Barakat fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hauser.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hauser throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hauser lands with a good body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barakat lands a leg kick that knocks Hauser off balance momentarily.
Barakat scores with a nice head shot.
Barakat swings for the body but Hauser moves out of range.
Barakat slips under a jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Barakat.
Hauser takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Hauser lands an impressive looking overhand right. Barakat doesn't seem phased though.
Hauser takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The fighters circling - Hauser throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hauser connects with a leg kick. Barakat looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hauser feints and then cracks Barakat's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Barakat down.
A nice leg kick lands there from Barakat.
Hauser throws out a loose jab but Barakat uses good head movement to avoid it.
Barakat scoring well with a low kick there.
Hauser swings for the body but Barakat moves out of range.

Hauser drops Barakat with a beautiful combination! Barakat stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hauser is looking for the KO!

Barakat is rocked!

It looks like Qasim Barakat has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hauser shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Barakat takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Hauser sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Barakat bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
