The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones gets caught napping as Destro dives in and scores a takedown. Jones manages to retain guard.
Destro engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Destro stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Nice sprawl there from Destro as Jones shoots in.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Destro seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And Destro tries to counter it with a takedown but Jones pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Destro forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Destro has clasped his hands together around Jones's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Jones is trying to escape the position but Destro is controlling the position.
Destro stands up and beckons Jones to his feet.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Destro changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Destro is controlling him well.
Destro grinds an elbow into Jones's temple.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Destro is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Jones is hurt! He's hurt bad - Destro fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Jones from any more punishment! Congratulations to Destro! Great finish!
