The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saulnier doesn't manage to clinch there - Fool circles away.
Saulnier tries to clinch but Fool moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The referee calls for Saulnier to work.
Fool wants to get back to striking at distance but Saulnier won't allow it.

Saulnier lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Fool pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fool stuffs the takedown attempt from Saulnier. Saulnier gets slowly back to his feet.
Fool lands with an uppercut that bounces Saulnier off the cage and back into rage.
Fool throws a series of punches but Saulnier avoids them all with ease.
Fool tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Saulnier tries to clinch there but Fool circles away.
Saulnier tries to clinch but Fool is having none of it.
Fool swats away the attempt to clinch by Saulnier.
Saulnier is looking to clinch but Fool is avoiding it.
Saulnier drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fool lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Saulnier sprawling to the canvas. Fool follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Saulnier hang on?
