The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bane tries for a takedown but Bauwens sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bauwens shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bauwens showed some decent athleticism there.

Bauwens is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bauwens is looking to take a break and control but Bane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bauwens drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bane manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bauwens has Bane in his guard.
