The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison works Bentley's body with a nice hook.
Morrison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bentley tries to avoid it but Morrison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bentley to the ground. Bentley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bentley misses with a head kick.
Morrison lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bentley is breathing heavily.
Morrison feints and then cracks Bentley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bentley down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Morrison closes the distance and clinches.

Morrison's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Morrison shoots in looking for a takedown. Bentley tries to sprawl out of it but Morrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bentley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Morrison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Morrison wants to clinch up but Bentley keeps it at a distance.

Morrison closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Morrison thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bentley is working an open guard so Morrison takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Bentley stalks Morrison and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Morrison's face. Morrison staggers backwards, shaken.
Morrison shoots for a takedown but Bentley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bentley throws a sloppy head kick and Morrison moves out of range easily.
Morrison swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bentley counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Morrison throws a push kick but Bentley slaps the foot to one side.
Bentley lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and Bentley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Morrison counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morrison.
Bentley wants to break free but Morrison has control.

Morrison digs a right hand underneath Bentley's ribcage. Bentley let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Bentley tries to break the clinch but Morrison is controlling the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Morrison goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bentley prevents it.

Bentley wants to get back to striking at distance but Morrison won't allow it.

Bentley goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Morrison on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Morrison takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bentley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Morrison tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bentley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Bentley counters with a three punch combo that has Morrison backing up. Morrison nods at Bentley to acknowledge the strikes.

Bentley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Morrison gets to his feet. Bentley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bentley works over Morrison's head and body with a nice combination.
Morrison darts in trying to clinch
and Bentley counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Morrison is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Morrison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Morrison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morrison gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Morrison escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bentley stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Morrison.
Morrison tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bentley swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Carl Bentley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Morrison misses with a takedown attempt - Bentley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Morrison lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bentley has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bentley and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Morrison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morrison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jim Morrison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
