Dinklage has chosen Kick Ass as his entrance music. Goose Dinklage is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinklage tries for a takedown but Naut sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dinklage takes the fight into the clinch.
Dinklage misses with a hook to the ribs.
Naut gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dinklage.
Naut swings wildly with an uppercut but Dinklage uses good head movement to avoid it.
Naut tries to land knees in the clinch but Dinklage avoids the damage to the body.

Dinklage jumps guard.

Dinklage looking for a guillotine here but Naut defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Naut controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dinklage is trying to control the position but Naut postures up.
Dinklage is looking to sweep but instead, Naut has passed into half guard.
Still in half guard, Naut seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Naut is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Dinklage won't allow Naut to pass to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Naut wants to stand up but Dinklage has a hold of him and won't allow it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dinklage can do anything to dispel that myth.
Naut with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dinklage fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jugger Naut has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goose Dinklage.

Dinklage tries to keep at a distance but Naut has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dinklage misses with the head strike.

Dinklage has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Naut regains guard immediately.

Naut manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Naut looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Naut misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dinklage feints and as Naut raises his hands in defense, Dinklage changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dinklage stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Naut has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Dinklage manages to get his head free but now Naut has transitioned to an armbar! Dinklage grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Naut! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
