Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pat Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wayne Dunlap!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dunlap fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hall sprawls well initially but Dunlap persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Hall manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Dunlap keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Hall drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dunlap content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Dunlap gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Dunlap wanted to stand there but Hall had control of the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dunlap passes into half guard.
Hall wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dunlap is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hall reverses the position - he's now on top in Dunlap's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dunlap looking for a guillotine here but Hall defends easily.
Hall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hall is looking to stand up but Dunlap won't let him.
Hall postures up in Dunlap's guard and throws a big left but Dunlap blocks it.
Dunlap wants to stand up but Hall is controlling him.

Hall gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hall has his takedown stuffed
and Dunlap counters with a two punch combo.

Dunlap drives through and clinches with Hall against the cage.

Dunlap has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hall clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Dunlap is striking well from the back but Hall escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
Dunlap is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dunlap stands and throws Hall's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hall is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Dunlap decides to stand back up.
A head kick misses from Dunlap.
Dunlap misses with an attempted mid kick.
Dunlap closes the distance looking to clinch

and Hall counters with a shoot takedown. Dunlap fights it but they end up in guard.

Dunlap manages to escape and get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hall misses with a takedown attempt - Dunlap sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dunlap scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dunlap controlling the action here.
Hall is trying to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Wayne Dunlap will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dunlap moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Dunlap dives in and scores a takedown into Hall's guard.

Hall scrambles and gets back to his feet.


Hall is rocked!
Oh Hall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dunlap closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Hall out cold! Hall corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Wayne Dunlap!
