Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Will Kush (ranked 5308 p4p, 552 weight class) and Johnathan Park (ranked 8242 p4p, 636 weight class). Johnathan Park has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kush defends it nicely.
Kush looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Park fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kush to the ground. Park is now in Kush's guard.
Kush can't keep his opponent in guard - Park advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Park drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kush manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Park has Kush in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Park is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kush.
Kush was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Kush has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Kush seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Park for as long as he can get away with.
