Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Nowak (ranked 6571 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andi Cola (ranked 5374 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Nowak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andi Cola!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cola tries a head kick but it misses.
Cola throws a leg kick which misses Nowak's front leg but catches the back leg as Nowak tries to avoid it.
Cola lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A telegraphed right hand from Cola misses the target.
Nowak tried to counter with a leg kick but Cola avoided it.
Nowak avoids the body shot from Cola.
Nowak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cola.

Nowak pushes Cola up against the cage in a clinch.

Nowak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cola jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Nowak clinches.

Nowak wants the takedown. Cola is fighting it off but Nowak persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cola's guard against the cage.
Nowak not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cola wants to get back to his feet but Nowak is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nowak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cola swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cola wants to stand but Nowak is controlling the position.
Nowak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Cola blocks a head kick by Nowak.

Cola gets caught flat footed, as Nowak shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

and Nowak counters with a single leg into guard. Cola didn't expect that.

Nowak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cola swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nowak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cola pushes Nowak off and gets back to his feet.
No luck for Nowak with that takedown attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cola.

and Cola moves into the clinch.

The crowd are getting on Cola's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Nowak is breathing heavily.
Cola lands an elbow just above Nowak 's eye.
Cola lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Cola lands a damaging elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cola gets through Nowak's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Nowak tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Nowak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nowak tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Cola lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Nowak tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andi Cola dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Cola lands with a good body shot.
The fighters circle, before Cola throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Nowak's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Cola lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Andi Cola!
Andi Cola decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
