The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bobby drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chavez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chavez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chavez!

Ricky Bobby showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Chavez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bobby is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Chavez still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Chavez has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Chavez wants to take a breather but Bobby manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Chavez.

Bobby goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Chavez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bobby but great work by Chavez.
Bobby looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bobby manages to get back to half guard.
Chavez thows a huge punch but Bobby dodges it nicely.
Bobby is looking to improve his position.

Chavez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bobby is just riding it out for now. Chavez eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chavez is just content to waste time from the top position. Bobby takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chavez is trying to control the position but Bobby postures up.

Ricky Bobby comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bobby has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
