Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tuna Tua (ranked 3208 p4p, 326 weight class) and Diogo Bustamante (ranked 4321 p4p, 412 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tua might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lole Usoalii Arise Tu i Luga. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tua throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bustamante counters with a slapping leg kick.
Tua misses with a left hand
and Bustamante counters with a nice leg kick.
Tua throws a hook but Bustamante blocks it.
Bustamante shapes to counter with a head kick.
Tua swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tua digs a good hook to Bustamante's body.
Tua jabs at Bustamante's body.
Tua throws an off balance right hand
and Bustamante makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tua really felt that one!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bustamante counters with a leg kick.

Tua scores with a one two! Bustamante had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bustamante uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tua.
Bustamante steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Tua definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
