PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Long Schlong (ranked 2727 p4p, 234 weight class) and Siwa Khamcham (ranked 4107 p4p, 305 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Long Schlong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Siwa Khamcham!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khamcham is looking to clinch but Schlong is avoiding it.
Khamcham throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Schlong swings for the body but Khamcham moves out of range.

Schlong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Khamcham holds on to Schlong's head and controls the position momentarily.

Schlong thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Schlong goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Khamcham has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Schlong but great work by Khamcham.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Khamcham is pressed up against the cage. Schlong has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khamcham down to the mat. Khamcham avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Long Schlong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Schlong connects with a leg kick. Khamcham looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Long Schlong will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Schlong manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Khamcham on his heels. He'll look to pass Khamcham's guard now, I'm sure.

Schlong was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

That was a close second round but I would say that Long Schlong will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Schlong has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Khamcham uses from the top position.

Long Schlong showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Schlong, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
