The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pieleen pushes Gutierrez up against the cage in a clinch.
Gutierrez tries to pull guard but Pieleen won't allow it.
Knees to the body from Gutierrez.
Pieleen lands a right hand.
Gutierrez blocks an uppercut.
Pieleen misses with a punch on the inside.
Gutierrez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pieleen smiles and moves away.
Pieleen throws an off balance right hand

so Gutierrez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Pieleen wants to stand and escape but Gutierrez is having none of it.
Gutierrez stands up over Pieleen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Pieleen working for submissions but it's allowed Gutierrez to get to half guard.
Gutierrez slows the pace down in half guard.
Pieleen is trying to escape back to his feet but Gutierrez uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Pieleen struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pieleen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gutierrez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pieleen throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

Pieleen is trying to improve his position.
Pieleen wants to control but Gutierrez postures up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
You can see the frustration on Pieleen's face as Gutierrez controls the position.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pieleen is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gutierrez is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Gutierrez is landing with some decent strikes but Pieleen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Gutierrez fails to advance to Pieleen's back.
Gutierrez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gutierrez prevents Pieleen from getting the reversal.
Gutierrez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pieleen tries to lock up and control but Gutierrez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Pieleen is looking to get to half guard.
Pieleen is still trying to improve position.

Pieleen wants to control but Gutierrez is having none of it.
Pieleen is working to get back to half guard.
Pieleen tries to hold on but Gutierrez postures up.
Pieleen bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Pieleen is looking to work some ground and pound but Gutierrez has wrist control.

Pieleen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Pieleen is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Pieleen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pieleen wants to stand but Gutierrez is controlling his posture from full guard.
Pieleen wants to control from the top but Gutierrez keeps moving.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pieleen passes Gutierrez's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Gutierrez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pieleen is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Erasmo Gutierrez will probably get the nod.
That's time! Gutierrez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Oooooh!!! Pieleen has knocked Gutierrez down with a huge combo! Pieleen steps away and waves a wobbly Gutierrez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Erasmo Gutierrez has been cut.

Pieleen clinches.
Oh Gutierrez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gutierrez jumps guard but Pieleen stands there with Gutierrez around his waist. Gutierrez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pieleen lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Gutierrez to his knees! Pieleen keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
