McGregor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Beleiver. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macey gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McGregor fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Macey has hold of one of McGregor's legs. McGregor is fighting the takedown attempt but Macey gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Macey drops back looking for a leg! McGregor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McGregor manages to kick Macey off! Macey jumps back into McGregor's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Macey trying to control the position from guard on top but McGregor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Macey drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Macey jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McGregor manages to escape and get back to his feet.
McGregor throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

McGregor gets caught flat footed, as Macey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

McGregor has his feet on Macey's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Macey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGregor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Macey is working away from the top position though.
Macey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McGregor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McGregor wants to improve his position but Macey is controlling well.

Macey is trying for a kimura here. McGregor looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Macey wins by kimura!
