Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sero Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feodoro Contadino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kim might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to CANON in D Korean Version (with gayageum) . This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sero Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Feodoro Contadino!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contadino shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kim as he jumps to the side.
Kim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kim throws a nice looking combination but Contadino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Contadino tries to clinch there but Kim circles away.
Kim tries to bum rush Contadino with a series of wild strikes but Contadino uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Contadino tries to clinch up but Kim circles away and keeps his distance.

Kim gets a clinch.
Kim prevents a body shot from Contadino.
Kim trying to stall but Contadino improves his position.

Kim throws a series of punches but Contadino avoids them all with ease.

Contadino fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kim sprawls well initially but Contadino persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kim is trying to maintain the position but Contadino is very close to passing his half guard.

Contadino seems to be working for a kimura but Kim defends the submission attempt.
Kim is looking to control Contadino's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kim avoid being mounted?

Kim is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Contadino is taking a breather. Kim says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kim makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kim.
Kim utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kim is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Contadino tries to free his leg and advance position but Kim is retaining full guard.
Contadino is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Contadino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Contadino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Contadino drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kim dives on top into guard.

That's time! Kim's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Contadino walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kim.
Contadino takes a kick to the side of the head.
A head kick from Kim lands but Contadino takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kim misses with a head kick.
Contadino moves out of range as Kim throws a body kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kim.
Kim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Contadino paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Contadino.

Contadino closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kim takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Contadino is breathing heavily.

Kim is not content to let Contadino control the position.
Kim tries to improve position but can't.

Contadino is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kim has escaped the position, nice work there.
Contadino scores with a couple of short elbows.

Contadino shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kim but Kim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kim scores with a crisp jab that stopped Contadino in his tracks.
Contadino takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Contadino uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kim.
Contadino throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kim's waist but Kim gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Contadino off to one side.

Kim turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Contadino shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kim as he avoids it easily.

Kim feints and then cracks Contadino's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Contadino down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kim will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Feodoro Contadino comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kim has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
